About This Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Direct Sales Representative to play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts within the dynamic field of chatbot technology. The Senior Direct Sales Representative will be responsible for leveraging their extensive SaaS sales experience, bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, and a profound understanding of the chatbot industry to build and manage strategic client relationships. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the SaaS sector and exhibit an in-depth grasp of the chatbot industry landscape.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and establish new client relationships with businesses seeking innovative chatbot solutions.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs, provide tailored product demonstrations, and articulate the value proposition of our chatbot technology.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory or market segment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless client onboarding, implementation, and post-sales support.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and utilizing other effective sales strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and competitive landscape within the chatbot industry.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that address client challenges and objectives.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutual understanding and satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to sales management on a regular basis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our chatbot technology, staying current with product updates and enhancements.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience within the SaaS industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and Chinese languages, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Deep understanding of the chatbot industry landscape, including key players, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
