Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Technical Sales Architect for their Global Starlink Enterprise Sales team to support the adoption of Starlink's APIs. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and assist in customer onboarding. This role requires strong technical and business acumen.

Who you are

You have a strong technical background with experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles — you understand how to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly is one of your key strengths, allowing you to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders. You are results-driven and thrive in high-pressure environments, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Your experience with APIs and SDKs is extensive, and you are comfortable working with Git to manage code repositories. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with product engineering teams to iterate and improve technical offerings.

Desirable

Experience in the telecommunications or satellite industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with network telemetry and integration processes. A background in software development or systems engineering can enhance your ability to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and innovation in technical sales processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the technical sales engagements of the Starlink Enterprise Sales team, answering customer questions and responding to RFIs during their evaluation of the product. You will lead complex customer proof-of-concept efforts to integrate Starlink into existing enterprise network environments, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Starlink’s product engineering teams to iterate and improve Starlink’s APIs, SDKs, and dashboards based on customer feedback. You will also be responsible for building and iterating on the documentation of Starlink’s APIs and onboarding collateral, making it easier for customers to adopt the technology. Maintaining a Git repository of reference code will be part of your responsibilities, helping to accelerate Starlink API adoption. Additionally, you will contribute to building and executing the channel strategy, assisting in the onboarding of third-party network vendors.
