System Test Operations Engineer

Who you are

You have experience in delivering technical support for high-performance computer systems, ideally within a semiconductor or AI context. Your background includes working closely with manufacturing test programs and ensuring quality assurance for hardware systems. You are proficient in general-purpose programming languages such as C, Python, or Java, and have a solid understanding of Git for version control. Your analytical skills are complemented by experience in Statistical Process Control and associated tools, allowing you to effectively manage and improve testing processes.

Desirable

Experience with server and datacenter-level functional testing is a plus, as is familiarity with interconnect technologies like PCIe Gen5/6 and Ethernet. You understand the importance of collaboration across teams, particularly with Production Test and Diagnosis design teams, to deliver high-quality manufacturing test solutions. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly will help you interact effectively with service providers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to CEM service providers, ensuring that the high-quality manufacturing test solutions are delivered for Graphcore's advanced technology products. You will collaborate closely with the Production Test and Diagnosis design team to detect and manage hardware defects that arise during manufacturing and in the field. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the quality of chips, boards, and finished systems, and you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of testing processes.

You will also engage in the development and maintenance of test solutions, working with various teams within Graphcore's Manufacturing Operations department. Your expertise will help in troubleshooting issues that arise during the testing phase, and you will be expected to provide insights that drive improvements in manufacturing quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will be involved in the analysis of test data to identify trends and areas for enhancement, ensuring that Graphcore's products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
