Squarespace is seeking a Senior Analyst for Paid Media Measurement & Insights to lead analytics for their paid media program. You'll work with Google Analytics and SQL to drive customer acquisition strategies. This role requires 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in marketing analytics or data science, specifically supporting Paid Media initiatives. Your expertise in influencing paid media strategy through data analysis and decision frameworks has been pivotal in your previous roles. You are data-fluent and outcomes-oriented, with a strong curiosity that drives you to explore complex questions that impact campaign effectiveness. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering, to translate goals into actionable insights. You are proactive in developing experiments to measure incrementality and have hands-on experience with attribution and LTV models.

You possess a deep understanding of channel performance metrics, ROI, and diminishing returns, enabling you to identify trends and opportunities effectively. Your ability to build reporting tools enhances decision-making speed, and you are comfortable presenting recommendations to stakeholders at various levels. You stay updated on industry trends and best practices, often mentoring peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with advanced analytics tools and automation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with marketing technologies and platforms will further enhance your ability to contribute to our team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the measurement and insights for Squarespace's paid media program, playing a crucial part in our customer acquisition and growth strategy. You will analyze channel performance and develop frameworks to optimize investment allocations and outcomes. Your work will involve collaborating with in-house teams to ensure that our analytics align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for developing experiments that measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts, ensuring that we can accurately assess the impact of our campaigns.

You will partner on attribution and LTV models, ensuring that our channels are represented accurately in our reporting. Building reporting tools will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing for faster decision-making across the organization. You will present your findings and recommendations to partners, helping to shape our marketing strategies based on data-driven insights. Monitoring industry trends and promoting best practices will also be part of your role, as you mentor peers and contribute to the overall growth of the analytics team.
