Appian is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales within the US Army sector. You'll navigate a complex sales cycle and leverage internal resources to achieve success. This role requires strong presentation skills and experience in managing sales processes.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in navigating complex sales cycles from start to finish. Your experience includes leveraging internal resources effectively within a larger sales organization, collaborating cross-functionally with customer success teams, and engaging with external partners. You possess strong presentation skills, enabling you to deliver impactful in-person and virtual presentations to both Line of Business and IT stakeholders. You are driven by results and are passionate about solving customer challenges through innovative solutions.
Experience in the technology sector or familiarity with digital transformation solutions would be advantageous. A background in selling to government or military organizations is a plus, as it will enhance your understanding of the unique challenges faced by these sectors.
As an Account Executive at Appian, you will be responsible for managing a primarily greenfield geographic territory, focusing on top-of-funnel activities and prospecting. You will engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting Appian's solutions that drive digital transformation. Your role will involve managing a complex sales cycle, typically lasting between 6 to 12 months, and you will be accountable for achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
