You are a team player who enjoys mentoring others, as you will be expected to train other autobody technicians in your role. Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technologies in automotive repair is a plus, as you will be working in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers. A strong understanding of the latest industry standards and practices will help you excel in this position. You are adaptable and willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer demands, demonstrating your dedication to the team's success.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will perform extensive bodywork on various vehicles, including heavy plastic welding and metal repairs. Your role will involve working on roof and rocker panel repairs, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. You will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs meet Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. In addition to your technical skills, you will play a crucial role in training and mentoring other technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.

You will collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that vehicles are repaired and delivered on time.
