Recharge is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to enhance their storefront capabilities. You'll work with Python, Flask, React, and various databases to ensure high performance and stability in their subscription platform. This role requires significant experience in software development and backend services.
You have 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in building scalable backend services. Your expertise in Python and Flask allows you to create robust applications that handle high traffic efficiently. You are familiar with frontend technologies like React and Vue.js, enabling you to contribute to both backend and frontend development. You understand the importance of performance and stability in applications, especially in high-scale environments like e-commerce. Your experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP, equips you to leverage cloud services effectively. You are comfortable working with various databases, including SQL and NoSQL solutions, and have a solid understanding of REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
Experience with Elasticsearch and Redis is a plus, as these tools are integral to our platform's performance. Familiarity with CDN technologies and best practices for optimizing web applications will help you excel in this role. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance the product.
