Block is hiring an Implementation & Onboarding Project Manager to manage the onboarding process for US merchants. You'll leverage your project management skills to drive successful activations and ensure a smooth seller journey. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You have a strong background in project management, ideally with experience in customer success or onboarding processes. You understand the importance of guiding clients through complex journeys and have a knack for building relationships with stakeholders. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively manage expectations and drive accountability. You are detail-oriented and can anticipate potential obstacles, developing strategies to overcome them. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for sellers. You are adaptable and comfortable with a mix of remote and onsite interactions, ready to travel as needed to support your clients.
In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working directly with US merchants to drive deals through to activation. You will be responsible for accelerating the onboarding process, ensuring that sellers are optimally scoped, educated, and trained to leverage Square’s platform. You will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to align on the seller journey and remove barriers to success. You will anticipate and resolve obstacles by managing stakeholder communications and developing scalable strategies that drive consistent outcomes. Your role will also involve documenting and tracking feature requests to inform future product roadmaps, ensuring that the onboarding experience continually improves.
