Cyberhaven is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to innovative data protection solutions using AI technology. You'll work on endpoint systems development and performance optimization. This role requires expertise in Linux and software development.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing endpoint systems that ensure robust data protection. Your background includes a strong understanding of Linux and the ability to design and implement secure software solutions that withstand real-world attacks. You are skilled in performance optimization, ensuring that software can monitor extensive data movements without impacting user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside security and product professionals to drive innovation in data security.
Experience with AI technologies and data lineage concepts would be a plus, as would familiarity with cloud security practices. You are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges and are eager to contribute to a team that is passionate about transforming data protection.
In this role, you will design and implement components of Cyberhaven's state-of-the-art system sensor, which traces data movement across applications and files on Windows endpoints. You will tackle challenging performance optimization problems, ensuring that the software can handle hundreds of thousands of events with minimal impact on performance. Your responsibilities will also include building secure-by-design software that is resilient against real-world attacks, contributing to the overall architecture of the product, and collaborating with a team of experts dedicated to protecting critical data.
