What you'll do

In this role, you will join Spotify’s Commerce Platform and play a key part in shaping the Checkout experience for millions of users worldwide. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust APIs that facilitate seamless transactions and enhance user engagement. Your work will directly impact how users start, manage, and continue their relationship with Spotify, making it essential to deliver high-quality, reliable systems.

You will collaborate closely with experienced teammates, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your contributions will help power the full purchase journey, ensuring that users have a smooth experience from pricing to payment confirmation. You will also engage in platform orchestration, working on systems that are at the core of Spotify’s Commerce platform.

As part of the Checkout area, you will focus on building adaptable and seamless experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to complex commerce systems and continue developing your skills as a backend engineer.
