MongoDB is seeking an Account Executive focused on growth to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. You'll work closely with CTOs and technical leaders, leveraging your sales expertise. This role requires 3+ years of quota-carrying experience in a competitive market.
You have 3+ years of field experience in a quota-carrying sales role, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive market. Your track record showcases your success in closing new accounts and expanding existing ones, making you a valuable asset to any sales team. You possess the ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology, allowing you to connect with CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users effectively.
Your experience includes co-selling with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as large global system integrators like Accenture and KPMG. You are skilled in building strong relationships that lead to growth opportunities, and you understand the importance of collaboration with Solution Architects and Professional Services teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You are driven by results and have a proven ability to overachieve sales targets, making you a strong candidate for this role.
While not mandatory, familiarity with MongoDB's technology and solutions will be advantageous. You are eager to participate in sales enablement trainings, including comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and leadership development programs, to further enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
In this role, you will proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline, focusing on new business acquisition within your assigned territory. You will formulate and execute a sales strategy that aligns with MongoDB's growth objectives, resulting in increased revenue and customer acquisition. Your responsibilities will include strategically prospecting into key decision-makers and building effective relationships that lead to growth opportunities.
You will partner closely with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize deal sizes. Collaborating with the enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partners will be essential to your success, as you work to expand MongoDB's presence in the market. You will also participate in ongoing sales training and development programs to continuously improve your skills and effectiveness as an Account Executive.
