Senior Java Backend Developer – GCP/Dataflow

We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Backend Developer – GCP/Dataflow (Remote),  to join our team and contribute to building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative remote environment.

Remote Position – Strong English Skills

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and related frameworks.
• Implement data processing pipelines with Apache Beam and deploy/monitor jobs on Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Ensure secure and efficient integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough unit testing using JUnit.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• Java Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Core Java, Collections, and Concurrency; experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Apache Beam & Dataflow: Hands-on experience implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and managing Dataflow jobs.
• GCP Fundamentals: Familiarity with Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security best practices.
• Testing & Quality: Ability to write unit tests (JUnit) and conduct code reviews effectively.
• English: C1
