DoorDash is seeking a Regional Merchant Lead to drive the growth of SMB partnerships by bringing new restaurant partners onto the platform. You'll engage in field sales, building relationships and negotiating deals with local merchants in Los Angeles.

Who you are

You have experience in sales and a proven track record of building relationships with local businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. You understand the importance of local partnerships and are passionate about helping businesses grow through innovative solutions. You are a strong communicator and can effectively pitch DoorDash's offerings to potential partners. You are adaptable and can work both in the field and remotely, balancing your time effectively between in-person meetings and administrative tasks.

What you'll do

As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will own the sales cycle for acquiring new restaurant partners. This involves prospecting potential merchants, conducting pitches, and negotiating revenue share agreements. You will spend a significant portion of your time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners and building strong local relationships. Your role will require you to understand the unique needs of each merchant and tailor DoorDash's offerings to meet those needs. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new partners and will be responsible for driving revenue growth in your assigned market. You will also participate in training and team-building events, contributing to a positive team culture.
