Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst for their FOAA Fixed Assets team to support financial accounting and reporting systems. You'll work with tools like Excel, Oracle, and SQL to ensure efficient financial processes. This role requires a CA qualification and experience in financial services.
You are a qualified CA with a strong background in financial analysis and accounting. You have experience in retail or financial retail services, which has equipped you with the necessary skills to navigate complex financial systems. Your interpersonal skills are top-notch, allowing you to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. You are well-versed in Excel and have a solid understanding of Oracle and SQL, which you use to analyze financial data and generate reports. Your knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation and reporting activities is extensive, and you are always looking for ways to innovate and improve processes within your team. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team-focused culture.
In this role, you will support the Fixed Assets team by managing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting. You will perform month-end activities, including closing sub-ledgers and reconciling general ledger accounts. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you conduct balance sheet account analysis and ensure that financial policies and procedures are documented and operating effectively. You will play a key role in promoting systems and process development within the department, driving efficiency and control improvements.
