Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Manager focused on Growth & Acquisition to drive strategic growth and support public safety transformation across major law enforcement accounts. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex government environments.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the public sector, and understand the nuances of working with government agencies. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships is key — you thrive on connecting with clients and ensuring their needs are met. You are proactive in closing deals and have a strategic mindset that allows you to identify growth opportunities within your territory. Your deep customer empathy enables you to understand the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies and how to address them effectively. You are comfortable navigating complex environments and can coordinate resources across various teams to achieve success. You are driven by a mission that matters and are eager to contribute to a company that prioritizes public safety.

Desirable

Experience in technology sales or solutions that support law enforcement would be a plus. Familiarity with public safety issues and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive revenue and growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts across a territory of major city police departments and county sheriff’s offices. You will work closely with a Key Account Leader to co-own revenue goals and deepen customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include coordinating resources to ensure that our solutions drive measurable outcomes for clients. You will engage in strategic discussions with law enforcement leaders to understand their needs and how Axon's technology can support their missions. You will also be responsible for tracking progress against goals and reporting on key metrics to stakeholders. Your ability to navigate the complexities of government procurement processes will be essential in achieving success. You will play a critical role in supporting public safety transformation through innovative technology solutions.
