Databricks is hiring a Geo Hunter Account Executive in the Gaming vertical to drive enterprise sales and close new accounts. You'll leverage your sales expertise and knowledge of the enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark. This role requires experience in enterprise sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You are an experienced enterprise sales professional with a proven track record in selling to enterprise accounts. You understand how to sell innovation and change, guiding deals forward to compress decision cycles. You have a deep understanding of products and are passionate about communicating their value to customers and system integrators. You thrive on identifying new opportunities and closing new accounts while maintaining existing relationships. You have previously worked in an early-stage company and know how to navigate the challenges that come with it.
You are skilled in presenting territory plans and meeting with key stakeholders such as CIOs, IT executives, and program managers. You excel at closing both new and existing accounts, identifying quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles. You are results-driven, consistently exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. You track all customer details meticulously in Salesforce, ensuring a solution-based approach to selling that creates value for customers.
Experience in the gaming industry or familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities. You have strong communication skills and can effectively articulate the value of Databricks' offerings to diverse audiences.
In this role, you will present a territory plan within your first 90 days, outlining your strategy for engaging with potential clients. You will meet with key decision-makers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Databricks can help them achieve their goals. Your focus will be on closing both new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing clients, ensuring 100% satisfaction among all customers. You will identify and close quick wins while managing longer sales cycles, applying appropriate resources to prioritize opportunities effectively.
You will leverage your knowledge of Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark to promote its benefits to customers. You will work closely with the Director of Enterprise Sales, reporting on your progress and collaborating on strategies to drive growth. Your role will involve tracking customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, to forecast accurately and guide your sales efforts.
