SPAN is seeking a Director of Field Service and Utility Delivery to lead physical operations and manage large-scale deployments of SPAN Edge hardware. This role requires strong leadership and operational management skills.
You have a proven track record in operations management, particularly in the field service or utility sectors. With a strong focus on electrification and decarbonization, you are passionate about leading teams to deliver impactful results. Your experience includes managing large-scale deployments and overseeing ongoing utility programs, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have the ability to define and build functions from the ground up. Experience in the energy sector or with utility contracts is a plus. Familiarity with hardware deployment and service engineering will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. As the Director of Field Service and Utility Delivery, you will lead all aspects of SPAN's physical operations at scale. This includes managing the delivery of utility contracts and overseeing the deployment of SPAN Edge hardware. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, Service Engineering, and Supply Chain/Fulfillment, to ensure that all operations align with SPAN's mission of enabling electrification for all. Your role will involve defining and building the field service function, setting strategic goals, and implementing processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
You will also oversee the post-installation servicing of the entire SPAN fleet, ensuring that all products are maintained to the highest standards. Your leadership will be crucial in developing a strong field service team that is dedicated to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will be responsible for establishing metrics to measure success and continuously improve service delivery.
