What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Procurement Leadership team, responsible for leading the packaging sourcing and engineering teams across North America. You will develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy that drives innovation and quality in packaging. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end execution of packaging initiatives, ensuring alignment with HelloFresh's goals and objectives. You will work closely with the VP of Procurement to cultivate a high-performing organization, providing leadership and support to your team members.

You will be tasked with building new functions within the procurement team while managing established teams to scale operations effectively. This includes setting and overseeing the achievement of objectives and key results (OKRs) related to cost management, growth, and supplier performance. You will collaborate with business partners and finance to build and drive annual budgets, focusing on packaging spend and identifying savings opportunities.

Your role will also involve communicating monthly category performance to the Senior Leadership team, ensuring transparency and accountability in procurement activities. You will lead initiatives that promote sourcing and technical best practices throughout your organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
