Dropbox is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to design, build, and maintain their enterprise service management platform. Who you are

You have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT Service Lifecycle (ITIL) processes. You are capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively across teams to meet critical business needs. Your expertise allows you to implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow workflows and service catalogs, ensuring high standards of quality and usability.

You are skilled in reviewing and analyzing existing configurations and workflows, developing strategies for improvement and further integrations leveraging ServiceNow. Your ability to develop requirements and craft test plans showcases your attention to detail and commitment to delivering effective solutions. You are also comfortable serving as tier 2 support, addressing issues as they arise.

Your collaborative spirit shines through as you work with senior engineers to identify opportunities for workflow automation and integrate AI agent orchestrators within enterprise processes. You are proactive in developing standards and best practices that enhance the overall platform health and efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with Jira or similar task tools is a plus, as it complements your ServiceNow expertise. You are familiar with automation best practices and have a keen interest in improving processes through innovative solutions.

What you'll do

As a ServiceNow Engineer at Dropbox, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the enterprise service management platform. Your primary focus will be on IT Service Management and related modules, ensuring the smooth delivery of core processes such as incident, request, asset, and change management. You will implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow workflows, service catalogs, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, reports, data imports, integrations, and other automation.

You will review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing configurations and workflows, developing strategies for improvement and further integrations leveraging ServiceNow. Your responsibilities will also include developing requirements, crafting and executing test plans, and administering ServiceNow while serving as tier 2 support.

Collaboration will be key in your role, as you will work closely with service owners, architects, and business partners to ensure that solutions meet high standards of quality and usability. You will contribute to maintaining platform health and improving automation, ensuring that the solutions you develop align with Dropbox's business needs.
