Facilities Manager, Data Center Operations

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of experience in data center operations or relevant operational experience in industries such as power generation, HVAC, and industrial manufacturing. Your background includes 5 years of experience managing technical teams and vendors responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure. You possess excellent people management and leadership skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively at all levels within the organization. Your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment is complemented by your ability to develop strategies that minimize operational costs while improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

Desirable

A Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, along with experience in collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently, fostering a collaborative and friendly work environment.

What you'll do

As the Facilities Manager for Data Center Operations at Google, you will oversee the daily operations of our data center facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally.
