Job Description

The EU has passed an unprecedented wave of legislation that impacts Amazon across its Retail and 3P Stores, making compliance the greatest barrier to entry and expansion for our Selling Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a complex, challenging space with a plethora of opportunity to build from scratch, solve complex problems, deliver results, and create a more positive Customer & Seller Experience. As a Senior Program Manager in the EU Stores Compliance organization, you will serve in a high-ownership role, influencing Amazon's strategic approach to compliance and risk management with significant visibility across senior stakeholders.

The role can be based out of the following offices: Milan, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; and Madrid, Spain.

Key job responsibilities
1. Program Implementation & Management- Design and implement a structured risk governance framework for Amazon’s retail stores in the EU and UK.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership- Work cross-functionally with compliance, business, and legal teams to embed risk governance best practices.
3. Product Ownership- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders like other product, technical, program teams to define and align on requirements, priorities and implementations plans on tech solutions that will support your workstream.
4. Process Improvement- Develop and implement new programs, tools, and process improvements across the business to improve transparency, drive scale and efficiencies.

About the team
The EU Product Compliance Team manages all product safety regulations Sellers and Vendors have to be compliant with to ensure our customers are purchasing safe, trustworthy products and to protect 3P and Retail Business. Further, we are a fast growing team, starting from 1 regulation in 2023 to managing 65+ by 2027 covering the EU countries in which Amazon operates. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning program strategy and delivering cross-functional programs
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication in English- Master's degree of equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Relevant experience in a risk management or regulatory compliance-focused role.
