About the Opportunity

You will be part of our 16/7 Fraud team. The team is the first point of contact for all our customers that have questions about irregularities on their account as well as possible scams or other fraudulent behaviour that they want our support with. One of the crucial points for our growth is the quality of service we provide. Our customer experience has been the main differentiator between Bitvavo and competitors. You can make sure that customers can keep their funds in our custody with comfort.

As the digital asset market is developing quickly, so does the regulatory landscape. It is key to comply with all regulations and offer the best possible exchange experience. By joining our Fraud Support team, you will play an essential role in ensuring this happens.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take responsibility for all Fraud related communication
• Ensure timely support, even outside of regular office hours.
• Enhance and expand the Fraud support process across various platforms
• Collaborate closely with security, product & tech teams as well as Compliance, Risk and Data.
• Act as an internal advisor, helping the company take a proactive approach towards new ways to help customers combat Fraud 

What We Look For

• Fluent (written and spoken) in Dutch & English 
• You are a natural problem solver, able to quickly understand problems and identify solutions
• Able to adapt to new processes and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible, not looking for a 9-5 job
• In depth knowledge of Crypto and knowledge of the digital asset market will be a plus
• Experience in Fraud related Support will be a plus
• Experience in compliance, integrity or an equivalent position will be a plus
