Samsara is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive sales in the public sector. You'll engage with mid-sized customers to promote IoT solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and understand the nuances of selling to mid-sized organizations. Your experience includes engaging with executives and CXOs, navigating complex sales processes, and managing multiple stakeholders effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with mid-sized customers in the public sector. You will identify opportunities to introduce Samsara's IoT solutions, focusing on how they can improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in operations. Your typical sales engagements will range from $20k to $250k, involving proof of concepts and detailed pricing negotiations.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are tailored to their specific requirements. This includes working with product teams to understand the capabilities of Samsara's offerings and how they can be leveraged to solve customer challenges.
Your role will also involve conducting market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to engage them effectively. You will track your sales activities and results, using data to inform your approach and improve your performance over time.
