Datadog is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to drive business growth by engaging and closing new customers in small to midsize markets. This role requires strong collaboration skills and a motivation for sales success.

Who you are

You are a curious and driven sales professional eager to contribute to Datadog's growth. You thrive in a highly technical environment and are motivated by the challenge of acquiring new customers. You possess a creative mindset that allows you to effectively map and break into accounts, and you are open to learning from feedback to champion a growth mindset. You have experience carrying a sales quota and a proven track record of success in sales roles.

What you'll do

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will focus on acquiring net-new logos through outbound activities. You will become a Datadog expert by participating in ongoing product and sales training, which will enable you to manage the full sales cycle effectively. This includes conducting technical demonstrations and negotiations with potential clients. You will collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity and strategically prospect into key decision-makers such as Chief Technology Officers and Engineering/IT Leaders. Your role will involve understanding customer needs and clearly conveying the value of Datadog's products to help close deals.
