Braze is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements. You'll collaborate closely with various teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and public company controls.
You have significant experience in commercial law, particularly in drafting and negotiating complex agreements such as MSAs, order forms, and DPAs. Your background includes working closely with finance and revenue recognition teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. You are adept at navigating the legal landscape of a rapidly growing company and understand the importance of aligning legal strategies with business objectives. You thrive in environments that require collaboration and are comfortable working autonomously while being accountable for your contributions. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively partner with various stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions. Experience in a technology or SaaS company is a plus, as is familiarity with public company regulations and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for advising on legal risks associated with various business initiatives and providing strategic legal advice to senior management.
