What you'll do

In this role, you will work on Lyft's network security initiatives, focusing on projects such as Internet edge proxies and Web Application Firewalls. You will collaborate with other infrastructure teams to ensure that services are secure by default, embedding security into workflows and processes. Your responsibilities will include architecting and building services that improve the security of our systems, with a keen eye towards scalability and minimizing friction. You will play a crucial role in shaping how service networking works at Lyft, contributing to the overall security architecture of the company. You will also engage in incident response, helping to address security incidents as they arise and ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into future practices. Your work will have significant impact and visibility within the organization, as you help to cultivate a culture of security awareness and responsibility.

Lyft offers a competitive salary range for this position in the San Francisco area, between $148,000 and $185,000, not including potential equity offerings, bonuses, or benefits.
