Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to learn about social media and community management. You have a passion for storytelling and understand the importance of creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and are excited to contribute to a positive brand image. You possess strong writing skills and can adapt your voice to fit different platforms, whether it’s Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn. You are detail-oriented and can identify trends that can enhance community engagement. You are open to feedback and willing to learn from experienced team members.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the Social & Community team by sourcing compelling stories and fundraisers that align with GoFundMe’s mission. You will draft and refine short-form copy tailored for various social media platforms, ensuring that the messaging is clear and impactful. You will track trending sounds and social moments on platforms like TikTok, bringing creative ideas to the table that can elevate GoFundMe’s presence online. Additionally, you will research and compile lists of creators who can help amplify the brand’s message. Throughout the internship, you will gain insights into community management and the strategies that drive engagement and support for meaningful causes.
