Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

Who you are

You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure — your experience includes developing and maintaining systems that support high availability and scalability. You are proficient in Java and have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, which you have used to manage containerized applications effectively. Your familiarity with Linux systems allows you to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

You have worked with NoSQL databases and understand their role in handling large volumes of data — your experience includes using technologies like Redis for caching and improving application performance. You are comfortable with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and have utilized various services to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Your experience includes working in environments that require incident management and response — you have handled critical incidents for production systems and understand the importance of maintaining uptime and service quality. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the demands of various stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with distributed cache services like AWS Elasticache is a plus, as is familiarity with traffic systems at scale. You are open to contributing to open-source projects and have a passion for advancing technology in the infrastructure domain.

What you'll do
