Microsoft is seeking an NPI Supply Program Manager to enhance its Cloud Supply Chain operations. You'll be responsible for managing sourcing and supply chain functions to ensure reliable performance and optimized costs. This role requires experience in supply chain management.
You have a strong background in supply chain management, ideally with experience in hardware infrastructure and cloud services. You understand the complexities of sourcing and supply chain functions, and you are adept at ensuring reliable, on-time performance while optimizing costs. Your experience allows you to prevent urgent and unplanned investments, providing accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally within the organization.
You are a strategic thinker who can navigate the challenges of managing suppliers and sourcing strategies. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will enable you to drive initiatives that support the organization's mission to deliver industry-leading supply chain capabilities. You are committed to sustainability and supportability in the management of datacenter assets, ensuring that the supply chain aligns with broader organizational goals.
Experience in the tech industry, particularly within cloud services or AI, is a plus. Familiarity with data center operations and the unique challenges they present will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end supply chain processes for new product introductions (NPI). You will work closely with engineering, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure that all aspects of the supply chain are aligned with product launch timelines. Your responsibilities will include developing sourcing strategies that provide cost advantages and flexibility, as well as managing supplier relationships to ensure high-quality performance.
You will analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will also involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the supply chain supports the overall business objectives and customer needs. You will be responsible for reporting on supply chain performance metrics and making recommendations for improvements.
