What you'll do

As an Inventory Control Analyst at SpaceX, you will analyze inventory location reports to identify and rectify issues such as negative inventory, duplicate locations, and inaccurate inventory quantities. You will provide guidance to inventory personnel, helping them navigate day-to-day challenges and ensuring that systematic issues are addressed promptly. Your collaboration with engineering teams will be crucial in managing stagnant and obsolete inventory, as well as maintaining accurate unit of measure issues.

You will conduct random audits to validate shelf-life storage and inventory accuracy, ensuring that all processes adhere to quality standards. Your role will involve interfacing with various departments, including traffic and quality control, to resolve inventory-related problems effectively. You will also support the organization’s metric goals and objectives by coordinating adjustments to inventory as required by finance.

In addition, you will be the focal point for inventory transactions in support of ERP testing requirements, ensuring that all systems function smoothly. Your ability to track quality and coordinate the implementation of revisions through configuration management will be essential in maintaining operational efficiency. You will play a key role in supporting inventory personnel in their daily tasks, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes accuracy and efficiency.
