Overview

Guidepoint is hiring a Business Development Associate to expand their reach with new and existing clients. You'll work closely with the Institutional Sales team to pursue new business opportunities and manage client relationships. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in business development.

Who you are

You are eager to start your career in business development and have a strong interest in building relationships with clients. You possess excellent communication skills and are motivated to learn about the Insights platform and how it can benefit clients. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to work with senior team members to grow the business. You understand the importance of client feedback and are ready to engage with both existing and prospective clients to identify opportunities for growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will liaise with senior Guidepoint team members to grow their existing book of business across Insights usage. You will actively prospect new business leads through both cold and warm outreach, setting up meetings with clients to introduce them to the Insights product. Your responsibilities will include identifying growth and cross-selling opportunities and managing client feedback calls to ensure their needs are met. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the full Insights platform and its competitive landscape, enabling you to effectively communicate its value to clients.

What we offer

Guidepoint offers a hybrid work environment based out of our NYC office, providing flexibility for employees. You will receive a competitive base salary of $65,000, along with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
