Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Consultant to manage key partnerships with Android OEMs. You'll leverage your expertise in Android and Linux-based systems, along with programming skills in Python and Java. This role requires 7+ years of experience in solution engineering or architecture.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 7 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture, you have a strong foundation in software technology and technical partner management, particularly in Android or other Linux-based embedded systems. Your experience includes 5 years in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting, and you have spent at least 3 years writing code in programming languages such as Python and Java. A Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred, along with 2 years of experience in Android platform or application development. You thrive in customer-facing roles, effectively collaborating with a variety of customers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Technical Solutions Consultant in Android Partner Engineering, you will serve as the engagement manager responsible for the success of key partnerships with Android OEMs. You will lead deployments and optimize implementations to drive new business opportunities, ensuring that technical aspects are managed effectively to build strong, long-term relationships. Your role will involve overseeing engineering projects with partners, creating and maintaining project plans, driving issue resolution, and facilitating communication for alignment and necessary escalations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and business development, to provide partner feedback and enhance product features. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the changing technology landscape and ensuring that projects stay on track and are completed as planned.
