Google is seeking a Program Manager for Strategic Sourcing in Supply Chain and Operations. You'll lead complex projects, drive procurement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 2+ years of program management experience and knowledge of supply chain management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes 2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a New Product Introduction (NPI) role. Ideally, you have 5 years of experience in program management within supply chain management and procurement, demonstrating your ability to drive procurement processes effectively.
You are skilled in metrics calculation, benchmarking, business process design, and stakeholder management. Your experience encompasses end-to-end procurement processes, invoicing, and financial reconciliation, showcasing your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones on business process enhancements. You are familiar with Lean Supply Chain Methodologies and have a track record of driving improvements in supply chain operations.
Your technical expertise includes working with systems such as Kinaxis, E2Open, ERP systems, and Supply Chain Planning tools. You understand the importance of building trusted relationships with program stakeholders and managing their expectations effectively. You are adept at providing insights that help stakeholders make informed decisions, ensuring that projects are aligned with business goals.
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves working closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will coordinate efforts across different offices, time zones, and hemispheres, ensuring that all players are kept up to date on progress and deadlines.
You will design and implement Supply Chain solutions, translating business requirements into functional and technical designs. Overseeing deployment and providing operational support will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for driving improvement initiatives and leveraging Lean methodologies to enhance supply chain processes.
Your ability to manage stakeholder alignment and expectations will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of program management.
