MongoDB is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. You'll focus on formulating and executing sales strategies while collaborating with technical teams. This role requires 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 3+ years of field experience in a quota-carrying role within a competitive market — you've demonstrated your ability to open new accounts and expand existing ones, consistently hitting sales targets. Your experience includes strategically prospecting into CTOs, Engineering and IT leaders, and technical end users, allowing you to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology effectively.

You thrive in environments where you can build strong relationships — your interpersonal skills enable you to partner effectively with Solution Architects and Professional Services teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You understand the importance of co-selling with cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as large GSIs such as Accenture and KPMG.

Your proactive approach to identifying, qualifying, and closing a sales pipeline sets you apart — you are driven by results and have a proven track record of overachievement. You are comfortable participating in sales enablement trainings, including comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and leadership development programs, to continuously enhance your skills.

Desirable

Experience in a hybrid working model is a plus, as is familiarity with the enterprise ecosystem and partner sales. You are adaptable and ready to engage with various business units within organizations, showcasing your versatility in sales strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on formulating and executing a sales strategy within your assigned territory — your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth and acquire new customers. You will proactively identify and qualify leads, building a robust sales pipeline that aligns with MongoDB's growth objectives.

You will strategically prospect into key decision-makers, including CTOs and Engineering leaders, to establish strong relationships that lead to growth opportunities. Collaborating closely with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team, you will ensure that customer satisfaction remains a top priority throughout the sales process.

Your role will also involve working with enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partners to maximize deal sizes — you will leverage your network and industry knowledge to create impactful sales strategies. Participation in sales enablement trainings will be essential, as you will engage in ongoing learning to refine your sales techniques and leadership skills.
