You'll leverage analytics techniques and insights to enhance user engagement and business operations. This role requires expertise in consumer behavior analysis and experience in a SaaS environment.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in data science with a focus on analytics and business insights — your experience includes working closely with product, engineering, and design teams to drive strategic initiatives. You possess robust knowledge of consumer lifecycle and behavior analysis, customer segmentation, and monetization analytics, particularly in a SaaS context. Your analytical skills enable you to perform deep dives into user engagement behavior, identifying key trends and opportunities for growth.

You are proficient in statistical packages such as R or Python, which you use to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. Your experience includes developing personalized segmentation strategies leveraging propensity models to target offers effectively. You have a solid understanding of key business metrics and customer journey phases, allowing you to inform experimentation design and roadmaps effectively.

Your ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights makes you a valuable partner in cross-functional teams. You thrive in environments where you can monitor and analyze experiments aimed at optimizing user experience and revenue. You are comfortable creating automated reporting and executive-facing dashboards to track acquisition, monetization, and engagement trends.

Desirable

A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science is preferred. Experience in product analytics within a SaaS company will set you apart, as will familiarity with digital campaigns and business operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with various teams to answer critical questions about revenue growth and product optimization. You will develop a deep understanding of customer journey phases and key business metrics, performing analytical deep-dives to analyze problems and opportunities. Your insights will inform future experimentation design and roadmaps, ensuring that user engagement behavior is well understood.

You will create personalized segmentation strategies that leverage propensity models, enabling targeted offers based on user attributes. Your role will involve identifying key trends and building automated reporting and executive-facing dashboards to track the progress of acquisition, monetization, and engagement trends. You will extract actionable insights through analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional customer behavior datasets, contributing to the overall strategy of the company.

Additionally, you will monitor and analyze a high volume of experiments designed to optimize the product for user experience and revenue. Promoting best practices for multivariate experiments will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the team adheres to high standards in experimentation.

What we offer

At Dropbox, we value innovation and collaboration, providing a supportive environment where you can thrive. You will have the opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. We offer competitive compensation packages, including salary ranges based on your location within the United States. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategies.
