Angi is seeking a Temporary Senior Analyst (Indirect Tax) to manage US Sales and Use Tax compliance and prepare tax filings. You'll work with accounting systems and tax software, requiring a strong background in accounting and tax regulations.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and ideally hold a CPA or a Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax. Your experience includes hands-on preparation and review of compliance filings, particularly in the area of US Sales and Use Tax across multiple jurisdictions. You are familiar with tax software such as Vertex, Avalara, and Netsuite, which enhances your ability to manage tax compliance effectively. You understand the importance of meeting jurisdictional deadlines and coordinating with third-party service providers for data exchange and timely remittance of tax payments.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to driving the daily US Sales and Use Tax function. Your attention to detail ensures that all compliance filings are accurate and submitted on time. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and are skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced setting. You value diversity and believe that different perspectives lead to better solutions.
Experience with tax compliance in various jurisdictions is a plus, as is familiarity with tax accounting and reconciliation processes. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly US Sales and Use Tax returns. You will manage a detailed tax filing calendar to ensure that all jurisdictional deadlines are met, coordinating with third-party service providers for data exchange and the review of prepared returns. Your role will also involve owning the monthly tax accounting and reconciliation processes, ensuring that all tax-related transactions are accurately recorded.
You will actively participate in system testing and audit support, providing insights and recommendations based on your expertise in tax compliance. Your contributions will help Angi maintain its commitment to excellence in the home services industry, ensuring that all tax obligations are met efficiently and effectively.
Angi offers a competitive hourly rate for this temporary position, ranging from $45.00 to $55.00 per hour. You will have the opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.
