Overview

Samsara is seeking a Director of Go-To-Market Systems to lead product management initiatives that enhance sales technology solutions. This role requires collaboration across various teams to drive growth and improve employee satisfaction.

Who you are

You are an experienced product management leader with a strong background in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies. With a minimum of 5 years in product management, you excel in cross-functional collaboration and have a proven track record of scaling operations effectively. Your high emotional intelligence allows you to foster a positive team culture while driving results. You are adept at leveraging technology to enhance sales processes and improve employee satisfaction, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and engaged.

You have a deep understanding of the physical operations industry, including sectors such as agriculture, construction, and transportation. This knowledge enables you to craft technology strategies that resonate with the needs of these industries. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can effectively communicate with teams across legal, finance, and marketing departments. Your analytical mindset allows you to make data-driven decisions that propel growth and innovation.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus, as is familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. You are open to learning and adapting to new challenges, and you thrive in settings where you can make a significant impact. A background in sales technology solutions or operations management will set you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the product management efforts for Samsara's go-to-market systems, ensuring that the technology solutions developed meet the needs of the sales team and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including legal, finance, and marketing, to refine and implement technology strategies that support rapid growth. Your responsibilities will include defining product roadmaps, conducting user research, and analyzing market trends to inform product development.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the sales technology solutions are user-friendly and effectively integrated into existing workflows. This will involve working with engineering teams to prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback and business objectives. You will also play a key role in training and supporting the sales team to ensure they are equipped to leverage the technology effectively.
