What you'll do

As a Data Engineer II at SimpliSafe, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the data pipelines that power our analytical and application platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and accessible for downstream applications. Your role will involve designing and implementing data models, as well as developing ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.

You will collaborate with machine learning engineers to ensure that the data infrastructure meets the needs of model training and deployment. You will also work with product and engineering teams to understand their data requirements and provide solutions that enable them to make data-driven decisions. Your contributions will play a key role in enhancing the overall data strategy of the organization.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering within the team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and share your expertise in data engineering practices.
