Overview

DoorDash is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to create innovative learning materials for employees and customer support operations. This role requires experience in adult learning theory and collaboration with trainers to enhance training resources.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced Learning Experience Designer with a creative and adaptive mindset. You have a strong understanding of adult learning theory and enjoy developing new learning solutions and assets. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with trainers and stakeholders to improve training resources and ensure support agents feel confident in their roles. You are detail-oriented and capable of analyzing performance data to inform changes in learning content. You are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a team that aims to be 1% better every day.

What you'll do

In this role, you will creatively identify design and process-driven pain points within the learning experience and actively investigate potential solutions. You will design and develop learning solutions that prioritize the optimal learner experience, adhering to adult learning principles and conventions. You will engage with subject matter experts to clarify content and author learning plans that include performance-based objectives and development schedules. Your work will involve implementing changes to learning content based on performance data, ensuring that the training materials remain relevant and effective for employees across various lines of business. You will also collaborate with other teams to ensure that the learning solutions align with organizational goals and support the overall mission of DoorDash.
