Carvana is seeking an Automotive Rim Repair Technician to join their team in Framingham, MA. You'll be responsible for repairing deep wheel damage and using state-of-the-art tools. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair.
You have at least 1 year of professional experience in wheel or rim repair, demonstrating your ability to handle deep wheel damage effectively. Your background in autobody work equips you with the skills necessary to use specialized wheel repair machines and apply paint and clear-coat finishes to wheels. You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality repairs that meet industry standards. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in an automotive repair environment, and you are eager to learn and grow within the company. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication with your colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for customers.
While not required, any additional certifications in autobody repair or related fields would be a plus. Familiarity with automotive tools and repair techniques will help you excel in this role. A valid driver’s license and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English are essential for effective communication and safety in the workplace.
As an Automotive Rim Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for repairing deep wheel damage, ensuring that each wheel meets the company's high standards for quality and safety. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools and equipment in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to perform repairs efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve assessing the condition of wheels, determining the best repair methods, and executing those repairs with precision. You will also be responsible for painting and clear-coating wheels to restore their appearance and protect them from future damage. In addition to your technical skills, you will contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with other technicians and sharing knowledge and best practices.
