Cryptio is seeking a Legal Officer to manage contracts and navigate regulatory environments in the crypto economy. You'll work closely with various departments to ensure compliance and support high-impact sales deals. This role requires 3+ years of legal experience, ideally in FinTech.
You have 3+ years of experience in a legal role, ideally within the FinTech or digital asset sectors. Your background includes managing commercial contracts and providing legal support for sales and compliance matters. You possess strong legal judgment and commercial awareness, allowing you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively. You are comfortable drafting and negotiating various agreements, including MSAs and NDAs, and have a keen understanding of regulations such as MiCA and GDPR. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with teams across Sales, Finance, Product, Engineering, and People. Your pragmatic approach to legal challenges ensures that you can balance legal requirements with business needs.
As the Legal Officer at Cryptio, you will own the full lifecycle of commercial contracts across our UK, FR, and US entities. You will partner with the Sales team on enterprise and partnership deals, guiding them from the initial contract stage to signature. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and various partner, vendor, and customer agreements. You will also oversee the legal components of enterprise RFPs and monitor FinTech and digital asset regulations, providing advice on compliance matters. Additionally, you will support product compliance, internal policies, insurance, and corporate matters, ensuring that all legal aspects align with the company's strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will collaborate closely with various departments to foster a culture of legal awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
