Job Description

Join one of Amazon's most impactful analytics organizations, empowering the world's largest Accounts Receivable and Payable departments through advanced data capabilities and real-time, actionable insights. Our Global Data Analytics (GDA) team is the trusted analytics partner for Finance Operations, providing data-driven solutions across global service centers and functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions, applying scientific methods to large-scale transactional processes.

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for our FinOps Healthcare Data and Analytics team. You'll deliver analytical insights that enable business outcomes. You’ll identify, design and create automation solutions, using artificial intelligence (inter alia). As a key member of a global team of analytics professionals, you'll be a major contributor to business and process outcomes in the area of Healthcare Finance Operations.

Key job responsibilities
- Support the organization's strategic business objectives, process outcomes and decisions by analytical insights
- Work backwards from business outcomes to analytics tasks to metrics problems and to data problems; create insights accordingly
- Collaborate with business leaders and users to optimize data-driven business processes
- Provide reliable, accurate, timely reporting for operations activities and leadership decision making
- Design complex, scalable analytics
- Build reports and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight
- Identify, evaluate, and implement automation opportunities, incl. AI technology; continuously enhance analytics while reducing manual effort
- Represent Healthcare Analytics in business reviews and provide data-driven recommendations to business and process leaders

About the team
Global Accounts Payable and Global Accounts Receivable are in charge of all AP and AR processes across Amazon's businesses and geographies. Global Data Analytics (GDA) provide data, analytics and insights to AR and AP. Our mission: "As trusted and business-focused analytics partners, we provide timely data, analytics, and insights across Service Centers (SCs) and global functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions. We apply science methods to large-scale transactional processes and use automation to improve efficiency."- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders- 3+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
