What you'll do

As a Software Developer Intern at DRW, you will design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions that enhance our trading and risk management capabilities. You will work on projects that involve creating decoders to process raw packet data from exchanges, normalizers to build trading books, and applications that facilitate communication around executed trades. You will collaborate with senior technologists and cross-functional teams, including quantitative traders and business analysts, to identify innovative solutions to complex problems. Your role will involve conducting robust research and employing statistical analytics on large data sets to drive data-driven decision-making.

You will have the opportunity to participate in organized social events that will help you explore Chicago and connect with fellow interns and employees. Throughout your ten-week internship, you will gain hands-on experience in software development and contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact DRW's success.
