Overview

ThoughtWorks is hiring an Associate-Graduate Developer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and design impactful software solutions. You'll engage in coding practices such as TDD and SOLID principles while working in Singapore.

Who you are

You are an entry-level developer with a passion for technology and a desire to create meaningful change through software. You may have a background in Computer Science or have completed a coding boot camp, and you are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. You understand the importance of writing clean and iterative code, and you are familiar with practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Object-Oriented (OO) design principles. You are open to feedback and thrive in a team setting where diverse perspectives are valued. Your curiosity drives you to explore new technologies and methodologies, and you are committed to continuous improvement in your coding skills.

Desirable

Experience with Agile methodologies and a willingness to embrace new challenges will set you apart. If you have worked on projects that required collaboration with designers, project managers, or quality analysts, that experience will be beneficial as you join our teams at ThoughtWorks.

What you'll do

As an Associate-Graduate Developer at ThoughtWorks, you will pair with experienced developers to write clean and iterative code, applying practices like TDD and SOLID principles. You will participate in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences that create significant change for our clients. Your role will involve understanding the context of business problems and contributing to the design of software solutions that address these challenges. You will engage in continuous delivery practices to enhance software delivery speed and quality. Throughout your first year, you will participate in the First Year Graduate Experience, which includes immersive training and monthly sessions dedicated to specific topics, allowing you to develop your skills and grow within the company.
