Overview

Contentful is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth by leading the full sales cycle across enterprise accounts. You'll leverage your expertise in Martech and CMS platforms to meet sales goals and ensure customer success.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a consultative selling environment. Your deep understanding of the Martech and DXP ecosystem allows you to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring that you can articulate the value of solutions to diverse audiences. You excel in value-based selling and are well-versed in the MEDPICC sales methodology, which you apply throughout the sales cycle to qualify deals and align stakeholders.

You are a strategic thinker who can develop robust account strategies that drive new revenue and customer enablement initiatives. Your ability to nurture relationships with enterprise clients is complemented by your strong negotiation skills, enabling you to close deals ranging from $50K to over $1M in annual contract value. You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with Business Development, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.

Desirable

Experience in the content management space or familiarity with content personalization platforms is a plus. You are comfortable navigating complex sales processes and can adapt your approach based on the unique needs of each client. Your analytical mindset helps you develop insights from the Martech landscape, informing your sales strategies and ensuring you consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Contentful, you will lead the full end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, across both new and existing enterprise accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to drive growth by sourcing, positioning, negotiating, and closing new logo and expansion business. You will leverage your strong knowledge of Martech, DXP, CMS, and personalization platforms to develop and execute account strategies that align with client business objectives.

You will consistently meet or exceed sales goals by developing a deep understanding of the Martech and DXP landscape, which will inform your pipeline development and account strategies. Throughout the sales cycle, you will execute and document the MEDPICC sales methodology, ensuring that deals are qualified, stakeholder alignment is achieved, and forecast accuracy is maintained. Your consultative approach will position you as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them to realize the full value of Contentful's offerings.
