Neuralink is seeking a BCI Clinical Field Engineer to collaborate with various engineering teams and enhance user experience with Brain-Computer Interface technology. This role involves conducting user research and organizing clinical trials.
You have a strong background in engineering and a passion for advancing technology that interfaces with the human brain. You excel in communication and can effectively translate user needs into actionable engineering goals. Your experience includes working closely with clinical teams and understanding the nuances of user experience in a medical context. You are comfortable conducting user research and have a keen interest in data analysis to inform product development. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams, including software engineers, neuroengineers, and mechanical engineers. You are adaptable and willing to travel as needed for clinical trials and user sessions.
As a BCI Clinical Field Engineer at Neuralink, you will serve as the vital link between users and the engineering teams. Your primary responsibility will be to understand and communicate user needs, ensuring that the BCI technology is optimized for user experience. You will conduct daily sessions with clinical trial participants, gathering valuable insights that will inform the development of neural decoding algorithms and user interface features. Your role will also involve designing experiment methodologies, including data collection practices and A/B tests, to evaluate the effectiveness of the BCI technology. You will analyze data from these experiments to drive insights that guide research and development decisions. Additionally, you will support users in adopting the BCI technology, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and enhancing their overall experience. Your contributions will directly impact the long-term vision of Neuralink's products.
