What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of performance improvements for Office on the Windows platform. This includes executing design and coding efforts, as well as extensive instrumentation to monitor and enhance performance. You will collaborate with various teams across Office to lead architectural discussions aimed at improving overall performance.

Your responsibilities will also include mentoring other engineers, sharing your expertise, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will be expected to identify performance hotspots and architect solutions that can be effectively implemented in production environments.

You will engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration, working closely with UX designers and product managers to ensure that the performance enhancements align with user needs and business goals. Your contributions will directly impact the user engagement of millions of users across multiple ecosystems.
