Google is seeking a Group Product Manager for Google Beam to lead the development of innovative hardware products. You'll work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, requiring 10 years of experience in product management and expertise in 3D graphics and display technologies.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in product management or related technical roles. Your background includes at least 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to guide products through the entire execution cycle. You have also spent 2 years leading and growing a team of Product Managers, showcasing your leadership skills and ability to mentor others.
Your experience includes partnering with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Joint Design Manufacturers (JDMs), and OEMs to develop and launch hardware products. You are familiar with the enterprise product domain and have a solid understanding of 3D graphics, extended reality, or display technologies. Additionally, you possess knowledge of OS development, low-level platform architecture, and SoC constraints, which are crucial for the role.

In this role, you will lead the Devices and Core Tech team to land Google's first commercial Beam products. You will develop the roadmap for the next generation of Google Beam devices and technologies, ensuring that the products meet user needs and market demands. Your responsibilities will include defining the hardware/software platform strategy to enable ecosystem partners to scale the Google Beam offering.
You will work closely with engineering, design, and research teams to make informed product decisions and technology investments. Your ability to connect the technical and business worlds will be essential as you guide products from conception to launch, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and user feedback to refine product strategies and enhance user experiences. By fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within your team, you will help drive the development of cutting-edge technologies that improve access to the world's information.
