Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Team Leader for Account Management to manage a team of Account Managers and drive SMB restaurant growth. This role requires strong leadership and coaching skills to enhance client relationships and performance excellence.

You have a proven track record in account management, with experience leading teams to success in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you excel at motivating and engaging your team to achieve high performance. You understand the nuances of managing client relationships and are skilled in coaching others on best practices for commercial negotiations and client engagement. You are passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses thrive and have a strategic mindset that allows you to identify growth opportunities. You are adaptable and thrive in a hybrid working environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Desirable

Experience in the food delivery or hospitality industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with performance management frameworks and strategic goal setting. You are comfortable with data-driven decision-making and have a knack for operational excellence. Your ability to nurture a diverse team and foster an inclusive workplace culture is essential.

What you'll do

As the Senior Team Leader for Account Management at Deliveroo, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10-15 Account Managers, guiding them in their efforts to support SMB restaurant growth. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Department to set strategic goals for the team and ensure that client relationships are nurtured and expanded. Your role will involve coaching your team on best practices for contract negotiation and pitching growth opportunities to clients. You will establish a performance management framework that encourages excellence and accountability within your team. Additionally, you will engage in recruitment and development efforts to build a high-performing team that aligns with Deliveroo's mission. You will prioritize workloads and manage resources effectively to drive operational success and enhance client satisfaction.
