SSP is looking for a motivated Front-end Engineer. Our team builds and maintains a scalable and efficient UX platform that provides capabilities for new Amazon Sellers. Managed Sellers benefit from hands-on strategy and assistance from internal Amazon Account Managers, improving value, growth, and convenience across their business. This role includes updating and maintaining our internal account management services and web UI as well as enabling other teams to consume and leverage those capabilities through service integrations. This position will include working end to end on our services and provides opportunities to grow as a full stack software developer on a team that is constantly looking to improve and optimize our capabilities for our customers.




Key job responsibilities
As a front-end engineer on this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap and development of product features from beginning to end. You will:
Work with the team to help solve business problems.
Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
Write high quality distributed system software.
Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
